What's the difference between Original Artworks, Commission Artworks, Art-Prints and Open Edition Art-Prints?

Canvas artworks are created on archival canvas in our studio by Shayle Flesser. Rebate frame art prints are printed on Ultra Chrome Art paper.

• Original Artworks are one-off, hand painted original paintings using high viscosity acrylic paint, which is weather and light resistant. Other mediums may also be incorporated into the artwork. 

• Original Paintings are one-off works and are kept in stock at our studio until the work is sold.

• Commission Artworks are hand painted, recreated from an artwork that Shayle has created. These can be replicas or can be customised to your own specification.

• Art-Prints are scanned images of Shayle's paintings or digital compositions, collaged and edited using CAD.

• Gallery Float Frame prints are Giclee prints, which are printed with our high quality large format inkjet printer on archival canvas. They can be purchased with a float frame surround or unframed. 

• Rebate Frame prints are Ultra Chrome Art printed on highest quality art paper with our high quality printer, then framed with your choice of frame and a white mat surround. 

• Open Edition Art-Prints are Giclee prints of Shayle Flesser's paintings, which have been scanned using a high resolution scanner.

Are the art-prints handcrafted?

Yes, our full range of art-prints are created in our studio and completely customizable. Our framing team then make high quality custom frames for each piece of art. We make these works to order specifically to send to you with the highest quality sustainable materials.

Can I customize the size or frame of an artwork?

Certainly! We offer fully customizable services, from dimensions to framing options and even intricate details within the artwork. To get started, please reach out to our customer support team at hello@emmastreetstudio.com.au, and we will respond to your query as quickly as possible.

Are the Artworks Ready to Hang?

Original and Commission artworks: If you've opted for a framed stretched canvas, your artwork will arrive ready to hang. The rolled canvas option is supplied without frames and sent rolled in a shipping tube.

Art-prints and Open Edition Art-prints: If you've opted for Gallery Float Frame or Rebate Frame, the artwork is ready to hang. If you've ordered the unframed canvas or rolled paper option, these are supplied without frames and sent rolled in a shipping tube.

Why Are Rolled Canvas Artworks Larger Than the Listed Size?

In our Giclee printing process we add extra canvas space (the wrap section) on all sides of the Rolled Canvas option. This ensures that when you decide to frame the canvas, none of the artwork is lost or compromised, assisting a successful framing experience.

What Does Shipping Cost?

Shipping will be noted on your sale paperwork at the time of checkout. Please drop our fabulous team a line with any questions you may have regarding shipping.

What Are the Shipping Timelines?

Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for custom printing and framing.

Please allow approximately 6-8 weeks for custom original artwork commission painting and framing.

Once your artwork is ready and packaged:

Delivery to AU, NZ: 7-14 Business Days

International delivery can take 2+ weeks.

All artworks are shipped with insurance coverage.

How Are the artworks Packaged for Shipment?

Framed Orders: Your framed artwork is meticulously packaged in accordance with the required and chosen artwork carrier for maximum protection.

Rolled Canvas: We gently roll the canvas and secure it in a protective tube before shipping.

Is the Delivery Insured?

Each artwork comes with 100% insurance coverage at no additional cost to you.

Can I Track My Order?

The Emma Street Studio team will send you full details of your travelling artwork, according to the artwork carrier we have used for your special delivery.
